2025-26 Registration

The Spencer Center for Gifted and Exceptional Students is excited to announce that we have migrated to a new system for student registration. We are no longer an option within the Cincinnati Public Schools Lottery System.

Beginning in January 2025 we held six in-person registration events for families seeking a space at Spencer Center for the 2025.2026 school year. Thank you to all of the families who attended. 

Grades 7-12:  Registration for the 2025.2026 school year is now closed.  If you are a CPS family and are interested in having your student placed on a waiting list/ having test scores reviewed for eligibility, please contact the Spencer Center main office at 513.363.3400.

Grades 3-6:  Registration for the 2025.2026 school year is now closed to CPS families living east of I-75.  If you are interested in having your student placed on a waiting list/having test scores reviewed for eligibility, please contact the Spencer Center main office at 513.363.3400

Out-of-Area:  Registration for the 2025.2026 school year for CPS families who are Out-of-Area (currently living west of I-75) is now closed.

Open Enrollment/Out-of-District: Registration for the 2025.2026 school year for out-of-district families is now closed.

As a reminder, the Spencer Center for Gifted and Exceptional Students is now located at 3555 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45226. We moved to our current location, within the Riverview East Academy building, over the summer of 2024 and successfully opened to a wonderful new school year!

Also on our website, you will find information about the 5 Star rating that we have received from the State of Ohio and the testing eligibility requirements to attend Spencer Center. If you are interested in having your student's testing scores reviewed for eligibility, prior to our registration events, please contact the main office at 513.363.3400. Arrangements for translation assistance can also be requested by calling the main office. We are happy to assist in arranging support to complete the registration process.
